If you find a good Android HU, I am also interested in. Android HU would solve so many problems in C-HR. I have not managed to get Mirror Link to work (that's an ancient system ...). Toyota Finland haven't answered my question about the needed sw versions. :(

mirrorlink works for me, but it doesnt support waze and doesnt support google maps....so the navigation apps it does support is just terrible.

Question of privacy is what the sales guy told me. Same reason Apple Car play isn't there. Toyota does not agree with the way Apple and Android use location data of the vehicle. Seems like in the USA they couldn't care less about privacy,

Not true. The Connectivity package is sold on the website of Finnish Toyota. The package costs about 300 euros and is available for Aygo.
Here's a link to https://www.toyota.fi/pack/ag/53bf56c2-07c1-408d-b514-7e73e6190413.

Here is the content of the page translated if the link does not work (as apparently does not work):

"Connectivity Package From € 296.16

Includes Smartphone integration for car touch screen via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto systems (requires Plus package selection)

Equipment included in the package
Smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay & Android Auto)"
